Fix & Sit

The concept of Fix and sit was born from analyzing people’s behaviour at parks. Most people are reluctant to sit or lay in steep slopes because of the discomfort and insecurity it causes.

Thus, some areas of parks get easily crowded, while sloping areas remain almost deserted. The Fix&Sit chair has solved the problem using a fixing system to the ground, inspired by the ice-axes used in climbing. The fix and sit chair angle is also adjustable from 0º to 45º.The chair stacks of the Fix&Sit chair would be made available at the entrance of parks, for users to collect and enjoy their favourite spot.

Its production is very eco-friendly and viable as it is made almost entirely of bamboo wood (the world’s fastest growing plant). In addition, its integrated solar panel, captures energy wich is used for lighting at night using the LED light box.
